Critters!
My pal, Aliya and I enjoyed a bunch of critters last Saturday. We went to Lawrence to go to Monarch Watch's open house & plant sale, ate at local burger, where I had a tasty elk burger, and ended up at my mom's to see the chickens.
This little guy was on my mint a different day. But he was too cute to leave out. I used to think praying mantis were creepy, but when you have one as a pet they change your mind.

My mom had a praying mantis as a pet and while we were visiting in April one of her 6 egg sacks hatched! 20-30 little babies were running around! It was the coolest thing. I also took some video of the mama eating a meal worm and when I re watched it I noticed her little eyes were watching my every move!!! So Cool!

You and Aliya are such lovely ladies! You guys and those butterflies together are like seeing some of the Lrd's crowning creations! ;) He has, in fact, done all things well, hasn't He? Wow. Thanks for the great pics.
