Madcap

So our last night in Michigan was spent in Grand Rapids. We got there late and didn't stay close to the downtown area. But the next day we at least wanted to check it out before heading home. We researched and found this coffee shop. It had great reviews on Yelp, so we plugged the address into the GPS. Honestly, this is one of the best coffee shops we have been to! They had two espressos to choose from and we took the suggestion of the barista (who adores KC!) and tried the Ardi. Oh wow, a lot of flavor. I had a 6oz cappuccino, the only size they offered I believe. Sam had a macchiato, which was for there only, no to go espressos or macchiatos at this place. Also, this is my favorite feel/look of a coffee shop. Very clean and modern with a bit of rustic feel with the concrete and brick. Lots of windows and minimal art. I love the white walls.

Located diagonal from the Grand Rapids Art Museum, smart location.

I loved the packaging, notice the trophies?

Small menu again.

White walls look great with the dark floor and contrasting brick wall. Next shot is over this rail.

That's right. They roast below and you can look down from above.
